I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoy the Lloydminister camp. It provides us with comfortable accommodations along with your hospitality suite. We were able to access local stores and have our own private room. The breakfast at the restaurant is exceptional and I commend them for their perfect eggs benedict. We have been hunting with you for several years and we have always been greeted with an exceptional staff who does a quality job of scouting our hunting locations. I have known and hunted waterfowl with Neil Johnson since 2015. I have hunted at both his camps, Marwayne Alberta, and Lloydminster Saskatchewan. I have hunted with professional outfitters in Eastern Ontario, and Manitoba over the past 10 years and can honestly say that his operations are the finest in Canada. The hunting is bar none, the finest I have ever had, both in the US and Canada. His Lloydminster operation is awesome. We harvested mallards, pintails, big honkers, lessers, lots of specs and our group of 7 enjoyed ourselves beyond imagination. The accommodations, food, and after the hunt hospitality were second to none. I have hunted waterfowl one time with North Star Outfitting, and we had huge Canada geese practically trying to get in the blind with us. I have also hunted black bear seven different times. He has never failed to produce excellent bears, I have taken one over eight foot, and several over seven foot. He works hard and does everything possible to provide an excellent hunting experience. His accommodations are first class, and there is more great tasting food than you can possibly eat. I have no reservations recommending Neil to anyone.

Thanks to Neil and all his hard work and effort, I was able to accomplish a 40 year goal of harvesting a nice mature bull moose. My wife Carolyn was also hunting and took a nice 9 point whitetail buck. Neil and I spotted a nice bull on a hill, we made a short stalk, and Neil got me in close enough for a 120 yard shot. I took the animal with one shot. This moose measured 53 1/2 inches wide and had 18 points. Thanks to Neil and all his hard work and effort, I was able to accomplish a 40 year goal of harvesting a nice mature bull moose. My wife Carolyn was also hunting and took a nice 9 point whitetail buck. I would highly recommend Neil and North Star Outfitting for anyone interested in hunting moose and whitetail deer.

I have been fortunate to hunt all over this great world. One place that in particular that stands out in my opinion is North Star Outfitting in Alberta, Canada with Neil Johnson; along with the great crew. I have had the privilege of doing twenty four hunts with North Star between bear, deer, goose and duck hunts. I was lucky enough to harvest a 200 class mule deer. My hunting buddies have also been as fortunate as myself. The food accommodations are five star, no questions asked. All I can say is be prepared to gain weight over the week. If you are looking for a great hunt with first class hard workers and respectful, honest people give North Star Outfitting a call.

I have been hunting black bears nearly 50 years, and have been on a minimum of 40 spring and fall hunts. I took my largest bear yet #22 with North Star outfitters. the bear measured roughly 7 1/2 foot,and weighed approx. 450#. the skull rough scored 201/2 ". the baiting both amount and variety , was the best i have ever seen. An extremely hard working outfitter and crew, great food, and excellent lodging makes north star a five star operation.You will never see more bears, including all color phases any where else. Expect to see up to 10 bears on a bait site, and 40 to 50 bears in a week of hunting.

All I can say is Wow! This hunt surpassed even my wildest expectations As an avid deer hunter I cannot believe the black bear hunt I just had at North Star Outfitters. As a previous deer hunting client I already knew that the accommodations and personal attention I would receive would be first class. But I had no idea it would be the most exciting six days I have ever spent in the woods. I had never hunted bear before this trip and I did not know what to expect. This hunt surpassed even my wildest expectations. My heart still races when I think about the number, the color phases and the size of the bears I saw, not to mention the two seven footers I harvested (1 chocolate , 1 black).
